After graduating in architecture from the University of Venice, Giandomenico Belotti began working in research, restoration, city planning and Industrial design. Since 1979 he has worked with Fly Line / Alias planning and designing the Spaghetti Chair. Still considered one of the most contemporary expressions of modern design, the chair is part of the permanent collection at the MoMA in New York and the green outdoor collection.

The chairs, well built and heavy for their size, are powder coated in white with white rubber bands used for the seating sling element. The design allows the set to stack easily when not in use.
